Review and Giveaway: The Bee Lady Honey

About The Bee Lady Honey.  Chanetta, local business owner of The Bee Lady Honey owns some bee hives here in the lovely state of Washington.  She became the Bee Lady when she found that she had such a fascination with these little insects!  Her passion soon led her into making honey soaps, beeswax lotion bars, and candles!  Their family also has a farm where out comes good tasting produce and free of chemicals!  Her farm is lovingly called the "Barefoot Boys' Garden" after her sons who run around barefoot!  I can attest to this!  She participates in many local events here, and feel free to give her a call if you are in the Key Peninsula, Washington area! :)  She is such a wonderful woman with such strength and faith in the Lord.

Her Products.  She is the Bee Lady, and well, my first thing I got from her was HONEY! :)  My husband and I just love her honey, he ate most of the 16oz jar we bought, and luckily on our next order we got the big 48oz jar--and we still have it!  We bought our first jar, not knowing who she was or where it came from, and loved it.  A local farm stand was selling her honey, among fresh local farm produce.  It was great that we were able to meet her and become friends!  My testimony is this:  I do not normally like honey, and yet I have found myself scooping a spoonful here and there.  There is really nothing like it, store bought just does not compare to it!  Knowing that it is also from a local farm just makes everything so much better! :)

When I started taking pictures it was already half gone...and after a day or so, there was nothing left!

She also makes her handmade honey soaps.  I have used it, and I love the fact that it is very mellow on your skin.  Only good ingredients are in her soaps--not to mention things extracted from her garden like essential lavender oils, bees wax and honey of course!  I would recommend checking out her store for her other great products like the Lotion Bars!  This is so good, we still have ours, they last a while and are pretty good for dry skin like me.  My husband is the main user of these lotion bars because he likes how there is no "residue or oily" feeling after using it.  So...I guess it is his!
