Seventh Generation Baby Products Review

I love getting goodies to try out.  Today we tried out the following:

NEW Seventh Generation Coconut Care™ moisture lotion
Free & Clear Diapers - Two Size 2 diapers
Free & Clear Wipes - Two trial wipes

Seventh Generation Coconut Care moisture lotion
This lotion is really nice.  It is Sulfate-free, paraben-free, dye-free.   I tried the sample size and packed it in my bag for on the go.   I was not let down by Seventh Generation at all.  Sure enough while running errands--my hands felt dry.  The first thing I noticed was the nice light scent.  Not overpowering at all.  As I squeezed a bit on my hands and bit on my legs, I noticed how it did not leave a weird greasy film.  To me this lotion absorbed into my skin quickly.  Refreshed, I went about my day.  I am hoping to get to the store to purchase a regular size!  It is a lotion I would definitely purchase for myself and my kids.

Free & Clear Diapers - Two Size 2 diapers
We also got the opportunity to try Seventh Generation Free & Clear Diapers for my six month old.  First impression---Adorable woodland prints! The fit was really nice for him.  It held as much as my other diapers and did not leak.  I am quite impressed with this Free & Clear Diaper.
Our day out of town resulted in my husband running out to the store and purchasing a pack because we liked it.  We usually use cloth diapers, but we felt this was a good purchase since we would be out of town for the day.

Here is a little bit of information from their website regarding their diapers:

·       The ultra-absorbent, high capacity core of our baby diapers provides premium leak protection to keep your baby’s skin protected and dry.
·       Our diapers are hypoallergenic, free from lotions and fragrances, and the core of our diaper is free from chlorine bleaching.

·       Seventh Generation diapers are made right here in the U.S.A. and are available in both original without designs and with NEW animal designs.

Free & Clear Wipes
These Wipes are hypoallergenic, paraben-free, no fragrance added, ethyl alcohol-free which are great for the sensitive baby bottoms.  The two wipes I used held up and did not fall apart or anything.  If your baby has sensitive skin--Seventh Generation is a great option.

Isaiah 25:1

In a world that is just crazy and full of turmoil and unrest---I am reminded of the Lord who is faithful and in control in the midst of all this.  I think of all my friends going through hard marriages and struggles.  I think of Job in the Bible going through major trials--yet never cursing God.

I will exalt you and praise your name for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things planned long ago.  In spite of everything God we look to you!

Rinseworks Aquaus 360 Diaper Sprayer Review

Simply a Great product. The hardware is solid and I have no complaints about the quality. The water stream is strong enough to rinse off poopy diapers, and is easy to adjust the pressure. What is nice about this is that one can adjust the stream of water. With other kitchen spray nozzles you simply can't do that! Another reason why I liked this was that the Install was simple. It took a matter of 5 minutes and I did not have to use any tools. Be sure that the diaper sprayer is "off" before turning on water by the way. It sprayed a good six feet. This sprayer has a lot of poop spray power.

I like the fact that this comes with a diaper sprayer holder that simply hooks over the toilet (you don't have to use tools at all). It's a hook that literally hooks over the toilet. Other diaper sprayers that I have bought did not have that option. It has been about a month and no leaks. I thought that it would be a bummer having to turn off the valve after each use, but it's so simple and I don't mind it at all. I would buy this again for a friend or for our second bathroom. I highly recommend this. I paid full price for this product, I was not asked to write a review. I bought this after reading reviews and after many hours of research. I also felt like their warranty was solid. If I ever had a leak they would stand by their product! This company made me feel like I was making a safe decision, so I jumped on it. I also saw alot of positive reviews and they are certainly not wrong about this diaper sprayer.

One can find this diaper sprayer here on Amazon:  Aquaus 360 Diaper Sprayer

Disclaimer:  I am quite happy with my purchase and am a satisfied customer who wanted to write a review.  I purchased this product with my own money and for the reason of cleaning our dirty poopy diapers.  I was not asked to write this review, but provided this review so that I may help others see how this product worked out.

Baby-Led Weaning Family Cookbook Review

This book has paved a way for me to confidently feed my nine month old real food without having to make "baby food". I have an older child and for her I had many fears and a lot of questions on how to start solids. This book is very simplistic in its style, but it is not a negative. It actually was perfect for a mom who may be pressed for time and needs to do a quick speed read. I was able to sit down and read this book within an hour and come back to it from time to time when I needed to.

Why do I recommend this book?

It offers bullet points and bright boxes that highlights important information and tidbits of advice. The book is eye catching in its illustrations and offers the right amount of knowledge and information. I quickly get glossy eyed with a book that has way too much information that I can handle.  This is a rather quick, short and sweet reference book when it comes to baby led weaning. Lastly, I enjoyed utilizing this book with my child. It gave me a confidence to "DO". Happily my now 10 month old eats at the table with us. The best thing is that I did not have to put any extra effort into making "baby food". I do like that this book includes recipes. Although I have yet to try them, I do like how this book has recipes on hand to try out.
