Green Giant: 100% Natural Valley Fresh Steamers {Review & Giveaway}

Review:  Now, I really like receiving food items to review.  This one was perfect for our family to review.  I am always on the look out for something quick, yummy, and healthy that is easy to make in a tight squeeze.  We had a few things that I had going on the stove, and I was super glad that I was able to add this Green Giant Steamers to our meal.  It was easy to fix.  all I needed to do was pop the bag in the microwave on top of a plate.  Heat up and let sit for a while.  Open the bag and then dish it out.

After serving it on the table what is the verdict?  Not bad for frozen veggies!  I ate a lot of it, and enjoyed every bite.  Veggies were tasty and the texture was just right for my one year old to eat up too!  I always have a problem of figuring out what kind of vegetables to give to my daughter.  This was a nice solution for me.  She ate the Red Peppers, Potatoes and a bit of the Snow peas if I made sure to put lots of sauce on it.

 Now the sauce is creamy and not too much.  I actually liked it!  It had a nice almost peppery taste Or did my husband add pepper!  My husband who bless his heart loves trying out anything that comes to the table promptly dished up a lot of vegetables up on his plate.  If my daughter and husband love the vegetables I give this product five stars and 2 thumbs up!
The price point is alright, not bad it was about $3.00.  Though I wish the portion in the bags was a bit bigger, I think for an easy quick vegetable side dish $3.00 is not a bad deal for us. Want to learn more about what the Green Giant has to offer?  Check out the following websites:

  1. We never went way out of our way to get them in. it was always just a part of the meal and the kids were expected to eat some of them. We started feeding them in small dose as babies and went from there. Both boys are great veggie eaters now.

  2. We just like them. I started my kids on veggies before fruits. It was just the way it was.

  7. I like vegetables so I eat them all the time. I found when serving them to my family adding seasoning and almonds or other nuts they like, they are more likely to try them.
