Jesus is Coming Really Soon (The Bible Post)

A couple of months ago, I was just really down, and I came across  Christopher Esty's The Bible Post.
I sometimes stay up at night just worrying or just kind of having hard time having peace at night!  Not a fun thing to have one's mind wander away.  Which is why one must meditate on the Word of God so that all you have in mind is that which is TRUTH and not lies or things that just bring static.  I guess in my mind I was troubled, and feared and worried, and the verses and this post from Chris just helped me a great deal.  Especially with the world events going on continually, it is good to know that Jesus is coming really soon!

Thank you so much, Christopher
for giving me permission to repost

Title: Jesus is Coming Really Soon

I received a wonderful message this morning! My son told me that he had a nightmare last night; but then he went on to say that he heard a kind voice speaking to him, saying, “You will have good dreams in your heart forever. I am coming really soon; in the clouds of heaven.” Jesus spoke to my son! And just as He spoke words of assurance to my son, He speaks words of assurance to you too:
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4).
Dear friends, so much trouble is stirring up in the world: there are wars and rumors of wars; nations rising against nations; famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places; false teachers and false prophets are leading many astray; and the love of many is growing cold as a result of lawlessness (see Matthew 24:6-12). But do not lose heart! Those who endure to the end will be saved (see v. 13).
“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28). For “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Unbelievers may laugh us to scorn, saying that we believe in fairy tales. But soon they will meet their Maker. They will stand before the throne of God’s judgment; at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (see Philippians 2:10-11).
“Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep” (Luke 6:25).
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:3-12).
Do not worry about the future, but rather occupy your thoughts with God’s promises: “whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things” (Philippians 4:8). “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).
Oh how He loves you! Do you know how much He loves you? You were worth dying for. Jesus gave His life for you. He purchased you with His own blood. Soon, He will come in the clouds of heaven to claim you, to take you away from this world of pain and suffering. He will usher you into His kingdom, where you will find love, peace, comfort, and joy everlasting. But you must not give up. No matter how hard it gets; don’t lose hope. Endure to the end!
My heart goes out to you, dear friends. I love you all, and want to meet you in the clouds of heaven, that we may be together with Jesus, forever and ever, in God’s kingdom. We will sit at the table that the Lord has prepared for us; we will sing songs of praise to His glory, and see our precious Savior, face to face. Our Father in heaven will embrace us, as we stand together in one place—a family in Christ. Nothing will ever separate us again. The cords of God’s love will bind us together for all eternity.
Come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

May God bless you,
~ Christopher S. Esty
